Surendranath Centenary school organised a campaign on 3rd July to create awareness about the hazards of plastics. The campaign was named 'Say No To Plastics '. Classes VI to VIII participated eagerly to make the campaign successful. Banners with slogans were displayed in their localities where they picked up plastic bags and cleaned up the litters. Children also made posters showing the hazards of polythene bags used in the society. Many other activities like speech, dance, songs were performed on the topic. A beautiful poem was composed by Harshvi Shah of std VII. Children also made paper bags and cloth bags for their use.The Principal Mrs. Samita Sinha praised the students for their good work and said that they need to be the good citizens of the country and help in making the nation pollution free.
