Republic Day was celebrated in Surendranath Centenary School with great enthusiasm and patriotism. Children of classes 6 to 9 presented a beautiful programme in the school premises. The national flag was unfurled by Madam Principal Samita Sinha, NCC cadets displayed a spectacular march past which was led by the senior cadet Siddharth Kaushal .It was witnessed by the school fraternity. Suditi Shreya of class VII delivered a fiery speech in Hindi which enthralled the audience. School choir sang a patriotic song which filled the atmosphere with nationalism and patriotism. A patriotic dance was also performed by classes VI to IX students. A speech was delivered by English teacher Shalini Singh. A skit Azadi ke Nayak on Bhagwan Birsa Munda was presented by the Literary club which was also a part of the Programme Pariksha Pe Charcha, 2023. The children took on oath to overcome all difficulties and pass every exam of their life and not let the sacrifice of these martyrs go in vain. The Principal Mrs. Samita Sinha said that every Indian ought to read and infer the true meaning of the Preamble written in our Constitution .It's time for introspection and do our duties towards our nation. We must not leave any stone unturned and give our best for the welfare of our country.
