The Heritage Club of Surendranath Centenary School organized special assemblies to commemorate Martyrs Day . Students from classes III to V paid tribute to the nations heroes with a poignant speech, patriotic song, and meaningful messages on placards. They took a pledge to follow the principles of non-violence and uphold the values of our nation. A presentation reminded them to maintain pure thoughts and actions. The senior wing students paid tribute through a poignant speech. Madam Principal Samita Sinha appealed to the students to uphold the values of our nation and respect the sacrifices of the martyrs. The entire school observed 2 minutes of silence at 11 a.m. paying tribute to the heroes who laid down their lives for our freedom.
