Surendranath Centenary School observed Kargil Vijay Diwas to pay tribute to the valour and sacrifice of the Indian Armed Forces. The event was organized by the Heritage Club in collaboration with the Art & Culture Club. The program commenced with a Special Assembly featuring a speech on the significance of Kargil Vijay Diwas. In the Junior Wing, members of the Art & Culture Club presented patriotic Song & Dance Performances. In the Senior Wing,a Quiz and a Painting Competition were organized for students. Addressing the gathering, Madam Principal Ms. Samita Sinha said, Remembering Kargil reminds us of the courage of our soldiers. Such activities help our students develop pride in the nation and gratitude towards our armed forces.
