Surendranath Centenary School celebrated the 77th Republic Day with great fervour and patriotic spirit, commemorating 150 years of Vande Mataram. The programme commenced with the unfurling of the National Flag followed by the National Anthem. NCC cadets presented a disciplined and impressive March Past. A colourful cultural programme marked the occasion, featuring patriotic songs, dances, and a special presentation of Mile Sur Mera Tumhara, beautifully highlighting the theme of Unity in Diversity. In her address, Madam Principal Samita Sinha urged students to uphold constitutional values, remember the sacrifices of the nation’s heroes, and work towards a responsible and progressive future. Students and teachers also shared inspiring messages, making the celebration meaningful and memorable. The programme came to an end with the soul-stirring rendition of Vande Mataram, honouring the spirit of patriotism and national pride.
