SCS Celebrates World Heritage Day 2026 18 April 2026

Surendranath Centenary School marked World Heritage Day 2026 with a series of engaging activities organized by the Heritage Club to promote awareness of Indias rich cultural legacy.

Students of Class IV undertook an educational trip to the Tribal Research Institute and Museum, Morabadi, and the State Museum, Hotwar, to explore tribal heritage and artifacts.

Classes III and V organized Dharohar Mela, where students and parents showcased the culture and traditions of different states through displays, attire, and presentations.

From the senior section, students of Classes XII and IX visited Ratu Fort. The trip aimed at experiential learning to help students identify famous historical forts and understand their significance.

Students also took a pledge to protect and preserve our heritage for future generations.

Madam Principal Samita Sinha said, Such initiatives connect our students with Indias diverse heritage and instill in them a sense of pride and responsibility to preserve it for future generations.
