Surendranath Centenary School organized a series of orientation programmes for parents of students from Balvatika to Class XII from 1st to 15th April 2026, marking the commencement of the academic session 2026–27. The sessions were addressed by Madam Principal Samita Sinha, who apprised parents of the schools vision, revised curriculum, discipline policies, and holistic approach to education. Key areas of focus included early childhood education, question paper patterns, board examination policies, and the importance of regular attendance. Parents actively participated in the sessions, raising queries and engaging in meaningful discussions, thereby strengthening the school-home partnership. The series concluded with the Balvatika Orientation Day, celebrated with great enthusiasm. The event featured delightful cultural performances, including a welcome dance, a vibrant Kalbelia presentation, and a melodious rendition of Esho Hey Boishakh, creating a warm and festive atmosphere for the young learners and their parents. The occasion was further marked by the inauguration of the lift in the Junior Building adding to the schools infrastructure enhancing accessibility and convenience. The initiative successfully set a positive and collaborative tone for the academic year ahead.
