Embracing Indias rich cultural heritage, the students of Class I at Surendranath Centenary School celebrated Rath Yatra with devotion, colour, and teamwork. Dressed in colourful traditional attire, the children began the celebration with a prayer seeking the blessings of Lord Jagannath. The highlight of the event was the ceremonial pulling of the beautifully decorated chariot, symbolising unity, faith, and togetherness. The festivities became even more vibrant with an array of engaging, fun-filled games. The students participated with boundless energy, laughter, and enthusiasm, making the celebration truly memorable. Madam Principal Ms. Samita Sinha appreciated the efforts and remarked that such cultural activities help children understand India’s rich traditions while promoting values of unity,devotion and togetherness.
