Surendranath Centenary School successfully concluded Bharat Innovates 2026 activities conducted during May-June 2026 under the aegis of ATL and Science Club. As part of the initiative, special classes introduced students to Deep Tech including Quantum Technology, Nanotechnology, and Artificial Intelligence. Students actively participated in the Bharat Quiz – Who Knows Indias Innovation? and an essay writing competition based on UN Sustainable Development Goals, presenting visionary solutions for a tech-empowered India. Assignments done by the students on innovation themes during summer vacation were showcased through student presentations, competitions, and an exhibition. Students also created short videos and reels on their projects and shared them on social media platforms tagging @BharatInnovates2026. On the concluding day, a special presentation on awareness about Bharat Innovates was held to brief students on its mission. This was followed by a seminar on Indias Evolving Innovation Landscape covering 13 thematic areas in advanced technology and innovation sectors, giving students insights into national priorities and emerging opportunities. Madam Principal Samita Sinha said, Bharat Innovates 2026 gave our students a platform to explore innovation and deep-tech beyond textbooks. At SCS, we believe todays classrooms shape tomorrows innovators.
